[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] These mini eye-shadow palettes from Urban Decay are perfect for those of us who don’t want to commit to bigger palettes – I don’t know about you but I’m wearing a lot less eye-shadow these days and only using one or two colours at a time. I can’t even imagine taking any colour up to the brow bone any more – it feels like too much.

It’s a collection of blush toned neutrals (not all that ‘sin’ful in my view but a bite sizer version of the original Sin palette) which are either an easy every day wear or can be ramped up with a bit of deep smoke.

I like the way you can bring up the look or tone it down just as you please – Bad Habit is a ringer for Bobbi Brown’s ‘Bone’ shade – remember that? To be used under the brow line as I recall. TBH and Twisted is where you can really get creative – TBH is a molten rose gold with some purple elements.

I think it’s the ideal palette for gifting to someone who loves make up but you’re not quite sure what their colours might be. Urban Decay Naked Sin Mini Eye Palette is something of a suit-all so you’d be on safe ground. I think it’s also right for anyone who doesn’t regularly wear eye shadows because the formula is just so easy to use – it’s creamy, beautifully pigmented, long lasting and versatile. It’s £27 at John Lewis (although do Google around as it’s the sort of thing that will probably be cheaper nearer Christmas when the beauty wars begin) HERE.
