The company also exhibited at Indo Intertex 2022, where interest in its offerings exceeded all expectations. It is South East Asia’s most influential textiles and garment industry exhibition. After successfully being held virtually in 2021 due to the global pandemic, Indo Intertex returned as an offline exhibition which took place from August 10-13, 2022 at the Jakarta International Expo. TESTEX has been a regular exhibitor since 2006.

“After two years of no live exhibition, visitors were enthusiastic about the event and keen to catch up on TESTEX’s news. The event proved to be a productive way to meet existing clients, old clients and potential clients to introduce the latest updates of Oeko-Tex certification as well as other TESTEX services such as textile testing and problem analysis. It was also the first in person event with TESTEX’s new branding,” the release added.

Amongst the 250 visitors to the TESTEX booth, there was a particular interest in Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex certification for baby products. The majority were manufacturers consisting of several chemical suppliers who enquired about Eco Passport by Oeko-Tex, followed by brands. The event was also an excellent opportunity to receive feedback from customers on their most important needs and issues. These included pricing, methods for certifying recycled textiles and requirements for the testing of chemicals.
