Olaplex No. 4D Dry Shampoo Review

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I’m trying to wash my hair a bit less just to leave it more resting time so a couple of days ago, when I was really in need of a wash, I grabbed my sample of Olaplex No. 4D Dry Shampoo. It’s honestly a genius product – my jaw dropped!

All dry shampoos are made equal in that they start with rice starch to soak up any excess oils that are causing hair to look ‘unwashed’. But, I guess it’s where they go from there. I’m not ingredient advanced enough with dry shampoos to know quite what has made this so exceptional but when I compare the inci to say, Batiste, it’s quite different. The only ingredient that Olaplex is flagging is rambutan seed extract as an antioxidant source and an odour eliminator, but I don’t remember seeing Zeolite (microporous absorbent) in any others.

Anyway, it gives hair more than a clean; it gives it soft lift and a bit of volume too and it doesn’t feel as though there is anything on or in your hair. There’s no white residue at all – none – and my hair actually did look refreshed from using it. I’ve screengrabbed from a reel I did on Instagram so you get the general idea.

I think that’s a good result and I delayed washing til the next day without thinking twice. It’s £28 HERE.
