Sweden-based clothing company H&M has announced that it has officially entered the Ecuadorian market after launching its first H&M store at Quicentro Shopping Mall, Quito recently. The fast-fashion retail chain will have two additional store openings in the country in 2022 as well as introduce online shopping. Ecuador will be H&M’s 80th market.
Among the activities organised at the launch of Ecuador’s new H&M store include a traditional dance performed by the sales staff and a ribbon-cutting ceremony conducted by Carrlos Duarte, regional manager Americas; Macu Alfaro, country manager for Mexico, Colombia, and Ecuador; Ricardo Gueerrero, Ecuador project manager; Aia Radzyminska, Ecuador area manager, and Ariana Claramont and Ivan Guzman, store managers at H&M Quicentro shopping mall.
Ecuador will be H&M’s 80th market.
