The ‘Logo of the Year’ went to Italian clothing, footwear, and accessories brand Diesel.
London-headquartered global fashion search platform Lyst recently crowned Italian women’s clothing and accessory brand Miu Miu as the ‘Brand of the Year’ in its annual ‘The Year in Fashion’ report. Miu Miu’s exceptional products like its mini skirt and viral ballet flats resulted in 49 per cent more searches than the previous year, the report said.
The 2022 ‘Shoe of the Year’ was awarded to German shoe manufacturer Birkenstock’s Boston Clogs, and ‘Bag of the Year’ was given to Prada’s Re-nylon Re-edition 2000 mini bag. The latter resulted in a 131 per cent rise in searches and generated over 4.2 million views on TikTok.
This year’s ‘Collaboration of the Year’ was awarded to French fashion label Jacquemus and Nike, whose partnership news resulted in over 50,000 searches in the first 23 hours. Searches for Jacquemus rose by 55 per cent on Lyst following the collaboration’s release.
The ‘Trend of the Year’ goes to pink clothing brand Barbiecore, inspired by Mattel fashion doll Barbie.
