According to the market sources, RIL fixed PTA price at ₹81.70 per kg (-2.20), MEG at ₹52.90 per kg (-1.20) and MELT ₹88.25 per kg (-2.30). New pricing of polyester raw materials will come into effect from coming Saturday. Last week, the company fixed PTA price at ₹83.90 per kg (-2.10), MEG at ₹54.20 per kg (-1.60) and MELT ₹90.55 per kg (-2.35). It reviews prices of PSF every fortnight.

Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), India’s largest player in polyester value chain, has further decreased prices of purified terephthalic acid (PTA), monoethylene glycol (MEG) and MELT, after lowering them last week. RIL reviews global market, price trend in China and fluctuation in crude oil to determine the prices of polyester raw materials.
