India-based ColorJet, manufacturer of digital textile and inkjet printers, has appointed Arun Varshney as vice president and business head – textile business. He was earlier working for Voltas Limited, a Tata enterprise, where he was managing operations through a team of sales and service managers; customer relationship management and key account management; marketing and sales of textile machines, accessories, and services; B2B textile solutions, new avenues, and profitability management; and business and manpower strategy.

Varshney comes with a vast experience of over 28 years in the textile industry, according to a press release by ColorJet. He is also a certified Tata Business Excellence Assessor and is certified in effective personal productivity, relationship management, conflict management, and team building amongst other courses.

He started his professional journey with Voltas in 1994 as a textile engineer, served many roles offering B2B textile solutions to many top textile business houses, and was leading a team of sales and service managers. His last assignment was heading the textile machinery business of the north and central region of India.
