Erenhot, the biggest land port on the China-Mongolia border, handled export and import cargo volume of more than 1.42 million tonnes—a 90 per cent year-on-year (YoY) rise, as per the data from the China Railway Hohhot Group.

The port’s export and import cargo volumes exceeded 238,600 tonnes and 1.18 million tonnes respectively on a month-on-month (MoM) basis, according to local media reports.
