The expert shared that it also consists of antioxidants and sulphur compounds which help in reducing cancer cells, improving the blood sugar level and improving the bone health.

While onions can be consumed by most people, the expert suggested that people who are suffering from sulphur allergies, should avoid eating raw onions.
