Health Shots got in touch with emotional health coach Shivam who has shared with us 5 positive affirmations, which will be a blissful reminder of the positivity within you.
5 positive affirmations you need in 2023
1. I am good enough
One of the most crippling limiting beliefs we carry is that we aren’t good enough be it in our relationships, work, or personal life. It’s important for you to challenge this belief by constantly giving yourself the proof that you are good enough. You can do this not just by writing it on a piece of paper, but also adding logical arguments in favour of this belief, appreciating every good thing you do, being proud of your accomplishments and not being extra critical of yourself, advises Shivam.

2. Believe that the year will bring new opportunities
Reprogramming your mind to think that new opportunities await you through consistent repetition will allow you to stay positive. “Our perception decides how we see our life. Very often when we are too busy blaming our life, we also miss out on the opportunities that can come up. By giving yourself hope and assurance, you can attract yourself to fruitful opportunities in life,” he adds.
3. I am the creator of my happiness
Do you constantly think about the ways that will help you find happiness in life? As per the emotional health coach Shivam, you are the one responsible for your happiness. “This helps us reclaim our power to do the things that make us happy.”
So, what are you waiting for? If you have been sitting on those dreams and aspirations, it’s time to let go and live. Grasp the moment you can so that you don’t regret a moment left behind. Don’t do anything illegal, though!
4. I embrace all my emotions
Most of the time, people tend to hide their emotions in the fear of being judged or seem too weak. But Shivam says it’s vital to embrace all your emotions. Emotional awareness is often the first step toward personal growth and healing. By allowing yourself to embrace your emotions, you also allow yourself to grow and accept yourself well, he adds.
5. I give myself permission to grow
“Quite often, our critical thoughts and belief do not allow us to achieve the things that we would have achieved normally. By being more conscious and aware, we can choose to grow in life,” says the expert.
If you don’t have time to set new resolutions and stick to them, you must make time to remind yourself of these positive affirmations in 2023 to keep stress away.
